Zolon A. Wilkins III has performed a number of strategic leadership roles in the travel distribution industry that include President and CEO of Lexington Services Corporation.
Lexington Services Corporation rapidly grew to become the largest hotel reservations company in North America and the second largest in the world. Under Zolon?s leadership the company boasted annual growth rates of 30%, gross client sales of $500 million and had 5,800 member hotels worldwide with office locations throughout North America, South America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Zolon led Lexington Services successfully through is sale to Travel Services International in 1998 and through the sale of the combined companies in 2000 to MyTravel, PLC. Zolon left Lexington Services Corporation in 2002 to pursue entrepreneurial interests and has successfully participated in a number of start-up ventures.
Zolon has served on numerous boards, including the North American executive management board of MyTravel, PLC as well as involvement in a number of organizations including Entrepreneurs Organization. Zolon earned a degree in culinary arts from Johnson and Wales University, a bachelor of business administration at Texas State University and has completed MBA studies at both Johnson and Wales University and Dallas Baptist University.
