Departure Control System
Our Departure Control System entails the automation of all processes related to an Airlines' Airport management operations. This web-based system is integrated with the Airline Control Manager (ACM) and the Internet Reservation Engine (IRE) in a synchronous manner for verification and updation of passenger and baggage upload data with reference to PNR specifications.
The DCS component, an integral part of our Airline Distribution System (ADS) solution is connected with leased lines (with ISDN back up) at the airports.
Features
Here is a list of certain standard features of the DCS, however, the system can be custom tailored to the needs of a particular airline:
- Check in for passengers and baggage in a few minutes- Facilitates group check-in and adjustment of baggage weights to avoid excess baggage and save cost for the customer.
- Printing of automated boarding passes- A pre printed boarding pass ticket can be provided by the Airline with free seating facility.
- Flight Manifest- To maintain the actual count and details of passengers on board a particular flight. The flight dispatch unit at the airports also requires this report.
- Operational Flight Plan Input- To keep track of the actual baggage count and weight, passenger count and total aircraft load for a particular flight. This report helps in building the 'Load & Trim' sheet for each flight that is required before departure.
- Flight Information (Fli-Fo)- Contains flight status information viz. Expected Departure Time, Actual Departure Time, Expected Arrival Time, and Actual Arrival Time of all the Airline flights at respective airports.
- Flight Departure Analysis- Comprises of Departure reports of all flights from all airports.
- Flight Arrival Analysis- Comprises of Arrival reports of all flights at all airports.
- De-Check-in- Enables the airlines to de-check-in passengers after they have checked-in
- Advanced DCS functionalities can also be developed and customized if required by the Airline. These would include features such as Boarding Gate Control, Baggage Tag Printing, and Baggage Reconciliation System etc.
